Ryan Lewis is a 24-year-old British racing driver, currently competing in the American Le Mans Series, one of the world's top sportscar championships.

Ryan's racing career began in the UK in T-Cars and he quickly made a name for himself when he moved into single-seaters in 2003, winning the competitive Formula Palmer Audi Championship. He went on to win the National Class of the British F3 International Series in 2004, moving swiftly up to the Championship Class and then made a move Stateside to see what the action was like across the Atlantic. In his first ever Formula Atlantics race in 2006 he finished second and went on to have two successful seasons in that series before making the switch to prototype racing in the American Le Mans Series in 2008.

Ryan is well known for being a super-fit driver who isn't afraid to challenge for position whatever the conditions.

Q. What was the last film you watched?
A. From dust to dust - the aftermath of 9/11

Q. What was the last CD you bought and/or listened too
A. Led Zeppelin Greatest Hits

Q. What was the last book you read, apart from motorsport publications?
A. Blackwater by Jeremy Schaill

Q. When was the last time you told a lie?
A. Couple of days ago I think. I was just being polite.

Q. What was the last treat you bought yourself?
A. Playstation 3 game.

Q. How do you unwind when you're not racing?
A.I just try to keep myself occupied. I enjoy spending time with my friends in Indy mainly.

Q. What's the most dangerous thing you've ever done, apart from racing of course?
A.Ummm...bungee jumping in New Zealand felt like the most dangerous but probably wasn't.I dont think I can mention anything without getting myself into trouble!

Q. How do you prepare yourself mentally for the start of a race?
A.I'm a big believer that driving a car is 70% mental and 30% physical. As long as I have a positive state of mind when I jump in, things will normally go well. I prefer to talk to my mechanics, my engineer, and my team mate rather than isolating myself from everyone before a race. Once I am in the car then I have plenty of time on my own.

Q. Describe your perfect night out?
A.It would have to be somewhere I had never been before, with warm weather and with my girlfriend and some friends. I could fill in the blanks regardless of where I am.

Q. How do you think you're friends and family would describe you, in one word?
A.Still bi-polar
