Formula Palmer Audi Champion Ryan Lewis will resume his Formula 3 test programme with a two-day outing with T-Sport at Oulton Park on December 9/10. The 19 year-old, who has just been short listed to receive the Human Performance Institute Scholarship presented by the Gorsline Company, is still weighing up his options for 2004 but has his eyes firmly set on F3.
“Formula 3 is definitely where I'll be in 2004,” said Ryan. “At the moment I just need to look at all the options and T-Sport have a good pedigree, they've won races and had a lot of success, just missing out on winning the Scholarship class. Having already had a couple of successful tests in F3, I'm really looking forward to getting back out there again.”
Brackley-based T-Sport, the junior team to Carlin Motorsport, enjoyed considerable success in the Scholarship class this year, narrowly missing out on the title with 2001 McLaren Autosport BRDC Young Driver of the Year Steven Kane and also taking third with Formula Asia Champion Karun Chandhok.
